Soma Mastering Service

We've teamed up with Glowcast Audio Mastering to offer a Soma Records endorsed audio mastering service.

Glowcast Audio Mastering is a Glasgow based mastering studio run by Conor Dalton, specialising in techno, house, minimal, tech house, dance music and all other types of electronic music.

As well as being our official mastering engineer for all Soma Records releases, Glowcast Audio Mastering's Conor Dalton has mastered music from Daft Punk, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, John Digweed and countless other high profile clients,

If you would like your music mastered by Conor, here's how to proceed:

Step one

Click here to order mastering via email. Please put "Soma Mastering" in the title of your email.

Step two

Please check your music is:

• Labelled correctly: Artist Name - Track Name (Additional info in brackets if required).
• 44.1kHz or above.
• 24bit or above.
• .wav or .aif files. No other formats will be accepted.
• -3dB headroom between the loudest peak of the track and 0dB.
• No limiter on your master output and no clipping. No dither required on your pre-master.
• If any of this sounds confusing or you are unsure, drop us an email to clarify.

Step Three

Then, upload the song(s) to wetransfer.com and email us a link to download them here, and don't forget to include your own email address so we can contact you. We will get back to you as soon as possible to let you know we have received the files and when you can expect to get your mastered files returned to you. If there are particular comments you would like to make regarding the tracks, or any problem areas you would like the engineer to pay particular attention too, this can be discussed at this stage through emails too. Average turnaround time is 7 working days, and rarely more than that.
