Percy X's set from the Plasticman night at the Glasgow Academy is up on the Slam site now ( http://www.slamevents.com). It will only be up for a short while.

Sidewinder plays @ The Arches tonight (20.15) with Orchestra Brazil, a collaboration of musicians from Scotland and Brazil. This gig marks the start of a tour of Scotland and London by Orchestra Brazil.
The visit from the Brazilian's comes after the Scotish musicians toured Brazil last year.

Percy X & Mark Broom 'Lady Killer'
A heavy-duty techno pairing here, so it's quite surprising to hear
the loopy house-driven nature of the track they've produced. With
these two at the controls the result is always gonna be somewhat
techy, and this is a proper groovy mixture of techno attitude with
house sensibilities. the layered pads and keys add atmosphere,
whilst the mad, pitched up beats give more energy than a crate of
lucozade sport. the two other tracks are full on techno, so unless
you like it hard it's got to be 'Lady Killer' all the way, and it's
worth checking this twelve for that track alone.

Slam were in the Soma studios today recording a track for the new album - out next year. Very top secret at the moment.
